my beautiful boys..

Well I haven't been stitching much due to the fact I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and have subsequently had a mastectomy and have started on the long road ahead with Chemotherapy.  Yesterday I had my hair shaved off as it was starting to fall out.  My two youngest boys shaved their hair off in support.

Dear Tania,

I came across your name when you won the giveaway on MMC. So glad it went to such a deserving person.

Having been through two mastectomies in six years and chemo after each of them I know what you are going through. Here I am 10 years later and cancer free.

Never lose faith that there are great days/years ahead. Remember - your cup is half full, not half empty.

You and the boys look wonderful.

Hugs, Margaret

Thank you so much Margaret for your kind words. That is great that you are now cancer free.!!

Kia Ora, Tania.
I'm an ex-pat Kiwi girl who is living in Canada now.

I just discovered your blog, and all I can say is stay strong. The hair will grow back (and honestly, you look good without it! Not many people can rock a bald head.)

You're lucky you have such supportive boys, who rock a bald head as well.

Stay strong, and, as Margaret said, so succinctly, the glass is half full!

Hugs from afar.
